Daisy de Villeneuve has made a name for herself with her funky, felt-tip illustrations. For her exhibition at Eleven together with Natasha Law, she experimented with china ink and brush, setting up a calligraphy of the everyday. Her quirky drawings recreate in the few lines all the paraphernalia of today’s faschionista: charm bracelets, perfume bottles, Louis Vuitton handbags and knee high boots. De Villeneuve invents the universe and wardrobe of her fantasy characters – the perfect accessories of a glamorous lifestyle. In 2004 she had a solo show at London's Fashion & Textile Museum.
Daisy de Villeneuve has produced books for Pocko Editions, He Said She Said and I Told You So, while her drawings have graced shoeboxes and homeware for Topshop, packaging for Moët & Chandon, cosmetic bags for Boots and T-shirts for the V&A.
