“Our art-making process is concerned with a collaborative, mutual response to nature at its most primitive and wild. Through live and direct interaction we aim to document the passing of animals, habitats and tribes that are here now but may not be for much longer.
We make our work in response to the natural world from first-hand experience. In this way the bush has become our studio.
Our rule is simple – no experience no art”
Olly & Suzi

Since meeting as art students twenty years ago, Olly & Suzi have worked together in some of the most remote and less domesticated habitats on earth. They have developed as a unique artistic entity, collaborating so closely on their drawings and paintings that their contributions are indistinguishable. At the core of their art is their desire to record from life their experiences of Nature. After making over forty five expeditions – tracking predators and their preys in remote Polar, desert, jungle and ocean habitats – Olly & Suzi are now focusing on polar bears and African wild dogs, on which they work ‘in situ’ but also in their London studio. In their works these endangered predators reach the status of symbols of all species in danger of extinction. They remind us of the fragility of the planet’s eco-system and point at our responsibility to preserve its bio-diversity.

Olly & Suzi were both born in 1968 and live in London.
